The Noctua NF-A12x25 G2 PWM chromax.black fan (120x25mm) is designed for case ventilation and liquid-cooling radiators. It operates between 0 and 1800 RPM, using a 4-pin PWM connection to adjust speed based on thermal demand. At maximum speed, the fan moves up to 107.3 cubic feet per minute (cfm) of air. A static pressure rating of 3.14 mmH2O provides consistent airflow through dense heat exchanger fins. Noctua uses a Progressive Bend impeller with a 0.5 mm tip clearance to reduce air leakage.

The fan is constructed from Sterrox liquid-crystal polymer to maintain structural stability and reduce resonance. The etaPERF motor features SupraTorque technology, which maintains consistent rotation speeds despite variations in airflow resistance. Acoustic output is 22.5 dB(A) at full load, making it suitable for workstations. This edition features an all-black colour scheme with no LED illumination for minimalist desktop configurations. The 12-volt fan fits standard 120-millimetre mounting locations in PC cases and water-cooling loops.
