The Sonos Era 100 SL (White) is an active speaker designed for standalone use or as part of a home cinema system. It uses a 2.0 channel configuration with two angled tweeters and a single mid-woofer. These components create a clear stereo field and handle low frequencies without the need for a separate subwoofer. The speaker supports Dolby Atmos Music, processing spatial audio for compatible tracks. You can use a single speaker or pair two identical units for better channel separation. It also functions as a rear surround speaker when connected to compatible soundbars.

The speaker connects via 802.11 Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 5.3. A rear USB-C port acts as an auxiliary line-in for connecting external media players. Volume and track selection are managed via the touch controls on top of the unit, as it does not come with a remote. It supports Apple AirPlay 2, allowing for direct streaming from iOS devices. Trueplay software measures your room’s acoustics and automatically calibrates the sound profile. The device runs on mains power, ensuring it remains connected to your network at all times.
