The Keychron K6 HE is a compact 65% wireless mechanical keyboard in an ISO layout, designed for both gaming and productivity. It uses Gateron double-rail magnetic switches with Hall-effect sensors to register inputs. The actuation point is adjustable between 0.2 mm and 3.8 mm of travel. Using QMK and the Keychron Launcher, users can customise keymaps and trigger behaviours. Rapid Trigger and Dynamic Keystroke functions are included for precise key repeats during fast-paced gaming. Connectivity options include a low-latency 2.4 GHz wireless mode, Bluetooth 5.2, and a wired connection. A USB receiver for the 2.4 GHz connection is provided.

The chassis features a rigid aluminium frame with a black finish. The magnetic switches are topped with double-shot PBT keycaps in a standard Cherry profile, which resist shine and wear. The keyboard includes per-key RGB backlighting that can be adjusted for different environments. Adjustable feet allow for height modification, and the built-in rechargeable battery provides up to 120 hours of use. The keyboard is compatible with Windows, macOS, and Linux.
