The Keychron Q1 Ultra 75% 8K is a tri-mode wireless mechanical keyboard designed for gaming and demanding workflows. Its compact 75 percent ANSI layout omits the numeric keypad to save desk space while retaining essential navigation keys. The keyboard features an 8,000 Hz polling rate in both 2.4 GHz wireless and USB-C wired modes, which reduces input latency. It is equipped with Keychron Silk POM linear switches, and the PCB is hot-swappable, allowing users to replace switches without soldering. Users can map custom actions or macros via ZMK firmware using the Keychron Launcher web application.

The keyboard is built with a CNC-machined 6063 aluminium body that provides a rigid frame. It supports multi-device pairing across macOS, Windows, and Linux. Each switch features adjustable per-key RGB backlighting for use in low-light conditions. To accommodate complex gaming inputs, the hardware includes N-key rollover and anti-ghosting. On-board memory allows users to store programmed profiles directly on the device, maintaining settings across different computers.
