The Keychron Q8 65% Alice Layout QMK Wired Mechanical Keyboard (ISO, Carbon Black) is a customizable input device designed for productivity. Its split layout angles the keys to promote a more neutral wrist posture. The board comes pre-installed with linear Gateron G Pro Red switches, and the hot-swappable circuit board allows users to replace switches without soldering. Configuration is managed via the open-source VIA software, which enables key remapping and macros. Anti-ghosting ensures accurate input when multiple keys are pressed simultaneously.

The double-gasket mount structure isolates the typing plate to reduce resonance. A rotary knob provides physical control for volume or custom shortcuts. The south-facing RGB LEDs provide backlighting that does not interfere with aftermarket keycaps. The keyboard connects via a detachable USB-C cable and is compatible with macOS, Windows, and Linux. It is powered entirely by the USB connection and does not contain an internal battery.
