Aruba/HPE Networking Comware CW 2050 - 48-port Managed Layer 2 PoE+ Switch

The Aruba/HPE Networking 2050 48-Port Managed L2 switch features PoE+ and four SFP uplinks to connect and power edge devices on business networks. It includes 48 Gigabit Ethernet RJ-45 ports and four SFP slots for fiber connectivity. The switch offers a 116 Gbit/s switching capacity and an 86.3 Mpps forwarding rate. Each copper port supports PoE+, enabling simultaneous data and power transmission over standard cabling. With a 410 W total power budget, the unit supports network hardware such as wireless access points and IP cameras.

The 1U chassis is designed for rack mounting and features a single fan for thermal management. Administrators configure the system via a web-based GUI or an RJ-45 console port using a command-line interface. For network expansion, the switch allows the physical stacking of up to two units. Local traffic segmentation and security rely on standard enterprise features, including VLAN support, access control lists (ACLs), and Spanning Tree Protocol. Base system power consumption is 24 W.
