The HPE Aruba Networking CX 6300M (S5Z46A) is a 28-port managed Layer 3 switch designed for top-of-rack deployments. It provides fiber connectivity across 24 SFP+ ports, which support 1 Gbps or 10 Gbps, and four SFP56 uplink ports for 50 Gbps server connections. The switch offers a switching capacity of 880 Gbps and a 654 Mpps forwarding rate. It supports Layer 3 routing protocols, including BGP, EVPN, and OSPF, for complex network topologies.

This 1U rack-mountable chassis includes dual power supplies and two cooling fans, with a maximum power draw of 85 W. Internal hardware features a 1.8 GHz processor, 8 GB of RAM, and 32 GB of flash storage. A dedicated USB-C console port allows for local configuration. The switch supports physical stacking of up to 10 units into a single logical entity. Integrated MACsec 256-bit encryption secures data traffic across network links.
