The Samsung Odyssey G9 is a 49-inch gaming monitor with a VA panel and a 32:9 aspect ratio. It offers a DQHD resolution of 5120 x 1440 pixels, providing a panoramic workspace comparable to a dual-monitor setup. The 1000R curvature matches the human field of view, helping to maintain focus across the entire width of the screen. The display features a 144 Hz refresh rate for smooth motion and a 1 ms response time to minimise blurring during fast-paced gameplay.

The display covers 92% of the DCI-P3 colour gamut and renders 1.07 billion colours. It supports VESA DisplayHDR 600 and HDR10+ Gaming to improve luminance in compatible media. AMD FreeSync synchronises the refresh rate with supported graphics cards to prevent screen tearing. The 178-degree horizontal and vertical viewing angles ensure image consistency from off-centre positions.

Connectivity includes two HDMI 2.1 ports and one DisplayPort 1.4 input. The stand allows for 120 mm of height adjustment, a tilt range of -2 to +11 degrees, and a swivel range of -15 to +15 degrees.
