The Aruba Instant On 1960 Managed Switch (20-port, 370W PoE, 10G SFP+ uplinks) provides additional wired network capacity for offices and data centres. The unit features 26 Gigabit Ethernet RJ-45 ports to connect hardware such as desktop computers, printers, and network storage. It supports data transfer rates of up to 10 Gbit/s for bandwidth-intensive applications and includes two dedicated SFP+ slots for fibre-optic connections. The switch complies with IEEE 802.3 networking standards to ensure compatibility with existing infrastructure.

The switch is designed for rack-mounting in standard IT cabinets. It measures 442.5 x 350.5 x 44 mm and weighs 4.7 kg. Integrated LED indicators display power and port status for local monitoring. An 800 MHz processor manages data flow during peak usage, and the physical design allows for straightforward installation in standard equipment racks, helping to minimise cable clutter in dedicated network environments.
