Aruba S4A33A - 48-port managed Gigabit Ethernet switch with 4 SFP+ ports and PoE (370 W)

The Aruba 48-port managed Gigabit switch is a Layer 2+ device designed for structured networks. It features 48 RJ45 ports providing 10/100/1000 Base-T connectivity for endpoints such as desktop computers and IP phones. Its Power over Ethernet (PoE) capability supplies a 370 W total budget to connected hardware, removing the need for individual power adapters. Four dedicated SFP+ slots provide 10 Gbit/s uplinks for high-bandwidth connections to servers, while maintaining Gigabit speeds at the access level.

The chassis measures 570 x 500.1 x 112 mm and weighs 6,340 g. The switch is equipped with a 1,250 MHz processor, 1,024 MB of RAM, and 512 MB of flash storage. A 4 MB packet buffer manages traffic bursts. The unit has a maximum base power consumption of 38.8 W, excluding the power drawn by PoE endpoints. As this model is not plug-and-play, administrators must manually configure the device before integrating it into the network.
