The MikroTik CSS318-16G-2S+IN 16-Port Gigabit Managed Switch with 2 SFP+ Ports is a Layer 2 smart switch for organising wired traffic in homes, small offices, laboratories and branch locations. Its 16 RJ-45 ports support 10/100/1000 Mbps Ethernet for computers, access points, cameras and servers. A 72 Gbit/s switching capacity handles simultaneous traffic across the copper ports and high-speed uplinks. This configuration suits networks needing multiple Gigabit edge connections with faster backbone access.

The 1U, 10-inch desktop/rackmount format fits a standard 19-inch rack, including side-by-side installation with another compact unit. SwOS provides browser-based configuration and management. VLAN support, MAC address filtering and broadcast storm control help segment traffic and govern connected devices.
