To get the most power and high end processors there is no better option than Intel Core i9 or i7. They have the power for everything a todays computer need, no mather if its for the most demanding gaming computer or 3D works. If you looking to build or upgrade a high powered gaming and work desktop choose Intel core i5. If you looking for decent middlerange desktop the intel Core i3 is a good option that still boost the power you need. For more basic desktops for surfing and movies you could go with the Intel Celeron or with a little more power like Intel Pentium. Intel have unlocked series that are the K-series, these models gives you the option to overclock the processor to boost more power.
