The Logitech 960 is a stereo headset designed for business applications on PC and Mac computers, connecting via a USB-A plug for a straightforward setup. It utilizes digital signal processing (DSP) to deliver clear audio for voice calls and webinars. The on-ear earcup design and adjustable headband are intended for professional environments. At just 120 grams, its lightweight construction is suitable for extended wear during long work sessions. The headset reproduces audio across a frequency range of 20 Hz to 20,000 Hz.

For voice communication, the headset is equipped with a noise-cancelling boom microphone that isolates the user's voice from ambient background sound. This microphone has a frequency response of 200 Hz to 6,000 Hz and can be folded out of the way when not needed. Convenient access to volume adjustment and microphone muting is provided through an in-line control unit built into the cable.
