The XILENCE M504D air cooler is designed to manage thermal loads up to 180W, positioning it for use with powerful multi-core processors. Thermal energy is conducted via four 6mm copper heat pipes that utilize direct contact technology with the CPU integrated heat spreader, ensuring high efficiency at the source. The heat is subsequently transferred to the aluminum fin array, which is cooled by a dual-fan configuration. This compact design structure aims to deliver consistent performance while maintaining compatibility with diverse chassis sizes.
Airflow is managed by two 92mm fans utilizing Hydro Bearings, capable of operating between 600 RPM and 2200 RPM. Fan speeds are dynamically regulated via a 4-pin PWM connector for optimized cooling under varying loads. The maximum airflow produced measures 111.2 CFM. Acoustic performance is characterized by a low noise output, ranging from 14 dB at minimum speed to a maximum measured level of 21.8 dB.
