The Noctua NF-A12x15 PWM CH.BK.S is a 120mm fan with a slim 15mm profile, designed for installations where space is a constraint. Its reduced depth makes it suitable for small form factor (SFF) PC cases, low-profile CPU coolers, or radiator configurations that cannot accommodate standard 25mm thick fans. The fan connects to a 4-pin PWM header, enabling automatic speed control by the motherboard based on system temperatures. This allows the rotational speed to adjust between 450 and 1850 RPM, providing a balance between cooling performance and acoustic output.

This model is built around a Self-Stabilising Oil-pressure (SSO) bearing, which contributes to its operational stability and longevity. It is engineered to generate a static air pressure of 1.53 mmH2O, making it effective at pushing air through high-impedance structures like dense heatsink fin stacks or radiators. At its maximum speed, the fan moves up to 55.44 CFM of air and operates at a noise level of 23.9 dB. The fan is constructed from plastic and does not incorporate any LED lighting.
