The CORSAIR 4000D AIRFLOW is a mid-tower ATX case designed with thermal performance as a priority. Its high-airflow front panel is constructed from perforated steel to facilitate substantial air intake for internal components. The interior is engineered to support extensive cooling configurations, accommodating multiple fans and radiators for custom liquid or air-cooled builds. This design provides an unobstructed path from the front intake to the rear exhaust, promoting efficient heat dissipation. To establish a baseline cooling solution, the case comes equipped with two 120mm AirGuide fans in the front and one in the rear.

The steel chassis accommodates a range of motherboard form factors, from Mini-ITX up to E-ATX (305mm x 277mm). For system assembly, the case integrates the RapidRoute cable management system, providing 25mm of dedicated space behind the motherboard tray for simplified routing. Component compatibility is broad, supporting CPU coolers up to 170mm in height and standard ATX power supplies up to 220mm long. A tool-free, tempered glass side panel allows for straightforward access and a clear view of the hardware. Storage options include a cage for two 3.5-inch drives and mounts for four 2.5-inch drives.
