The Beats Flex are wireless in-ear headphones featuring a flexible neckband design that provides stability during daily activities. They incorporate the Apple W1 chip, which facilitates seamless one-touch pairing and automatic device switching for users within the Apple ecosystem. Audio output is managed by a custom acoustic platform with a built-in Digital Signal Processing (DSP) chip to optimize sound quality. To ensure a secure fit and effective passive noise isolation, the headphones are supplied with four different sizes of silicone ear tips.

The integrated battery delivers up to 12 hours of listening time from a single charge. For rapid power, the Fast Fuel feature provides 1.5 hours of playback from a 10-minute charge using the USB-C connection. On-device buttons allow for direct control over volume, music playback, and call management. The earbuds are magnetic and will automatically pause content when connected together and resume playback when separated, and the built-in microphone uses wind-reduction technology for improved call clarity.
