The Thermaltake S500 TG Snow Edition is a mid-tower case constructed primarily from steel with a white finish. It features a 4 mm thick tempered glass side panel for viewing internal components and a bottom-mounted power supply shroud. The internal layout is designed to accommodate various high-performance builds, offering eight horizontal expansion slots. Integrated routing points and a dedicated space behind the motherboard tray are included to facilitate cable management.

The chassis is engineered for thermal performance with extensive support for both air and liquid cooling setups. Multiple mounting locations for fans and radiators are available on the front, top, rear, and bottom panels. For storage, it utilizes a modular drive cage system that can be configured based on user requirements. Removable dust filters are located at the top, front, and bottom intake points to simplify system maintenance and protect components.
