The Cisco Catalyst 9166I Wi-Fi 6E Tri-Band 4x4 XOR Access Point (CW9166I-E) provides wireless connectivity for enterprise environments. It operates across the 2.4 GHz, 5 GHz, and 6 GHz frequency bands to support dense client deployments, reaching a maximum aggregate data rate of 7.78 Gbit/s. A single RJ45 Ethernet port provides the wired network connection. Internal 4x4 XOR radio technology maintains throughput across the available spectrum, while support for 802.11ax (Wi-Fi 6E) improves spectral efficiency and capacity.

The unit has a 241.3 mm square white housing and weighs 1600 g. Power is supplied via Power over Ethernet (PoE) or an integrated DC jack. The hardware operates in temperatures from 0 °C to 50 °C and at altitudes of up to 3000 m. Maximum power consumption is 30.5 W. LED indicators show system status and boot progress. It is suitable for ceiling or wall mounting in indoor commercial spaces.
