The Aruba 100G QSFP28 LC FR1 SMF 2 km transceiver supports 100 Gbit/s data transmission over single-mode fibre optic networks, meeting the 100GBase-FR1 standard. It uses a QSFP28 interface for installation into compatible network ports and supports transmission distances of up to 2 km, suitable for linking equipment across large facilities. The internal architecture is optimised for fibre-based connections.

The module is compatible with high-density hardware, such as the HPE Aruba 9300-32D switch series. It converts electrical signals to optical, allowing switches to establish high-speed connections over distance.
