The NZXT H9 Elite is a mid-tower chassis designed with a dual-chamber layout. This configuration isolates the power supply and storage drives from the main component area, which facilitates organized cable management and directs airflow toward the primary heat sources. Constructed from stainless steel, the case features tempered glass on the front and side panels to provide a clear view of the internal hardware. This design prioritizes component visibility and a clean build aesthetic.

The case provides extensive cooling capacity, with mounts for up to ten 120 mm fans and simultaneous support for three 360 mm radiators on the top, front, and side. It comes with three 120 mm RGB fans pre-installed at the front and one 120 mm fan at the rear. The chassis is compatible with ATX, Micro-ATX, and Mini-ITX motherboards and has seven expansion slots. The top-accessible I/O panel includes two USB-A 3.2 Gen 1 ports, one USB-C 3.2 Gen 2 port, and a combo audio jack.
