The be quiet! Shadow Base 800 FX is a Midi Tower case designed for high-airflow systems and built with steel, ABS, and a tempered glass side panel. Its large interior accommodates a wide range of motherboard form factors, including E-ATX, ATX, Micro-ATX, and Mini-ITX. The chassis measures 550 x 247 x 522 mm (D x W x H), providing substantial volume for high-end components and cable management. The white finish and integrated ARGB lighting in the fans and front panel offer aesthetic customization options.

Cooling performance is addressed with four pre-installed 140 mm PWM fans, with three positioned at the front for intake and one at the rear for exhaust. The case also offers extensive support for liquid cooling, with mounting locations for radiators up to 420 mm in both the front and top panels. Component clearances are ample, with space for CPU coolers up to 180 mm in height and power supplies up to 305 mm in length. The front I/O panel includes one USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C port, two USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A ports, and audio jacks.
