The DEEPCOOL AK400 ZERO DARK PLUS is an air-cooling solution rated for processors requiring thermal dissipation up to 220W TDP. This single-tower heatsink assembly integrates four 6mm diameter copper heat pipes designed to maintain efficient heat transfer away from the CPU contact plate. Thermal energy is dissipated using a 120mm Fluid Dynamic Bearing (FDB) fan, which delivers consistent airflow stability across its operating range. The entire cooler, including the fins and mounting hardware, is finished in a uniform black coating.

Compatibility extends to major modern sockets, including Intel LGA 1700 and AMD AM5 and AM4 platforms. The 120mm fan supports Pulse Width Modulation (PWM) control, allowing rotational speeds to modulate between a minimum of 500 RPM and a maximum of 1650 RPM. This controlled operation ensures that the acoustic output remains low, peaking at 28 dB under high load.
