The JONSBO CR-1000 ARGB functions as a single tower CPU air cooler intended for mainstream processor applications rated up to a Thermal Design Power (TDP) of 130 Watts. Heat transfer relies on a direct-contact copper base feeding into four 6 mm diameter heat pipes. These copper pipes distribute thermal energy across the large aluminum fin stack for efficient heat dissipation under load. The cooler features a black tower design suitable for integration into diverse PC chassis styles.

Thermal management is handled by a single 120 mm fan utilizing Pulse Width Modulation (PWM) control, allowing the rotation speed to dynamically adjust between 700 and 1800 RPM based on system temperature demands. At maximum operational speed, the fan moves 66.81 cubic feet per minute (CFM) of air and generates 1.81 mmH2O of static pressure, resulting in a reported maximum noise output of 37.2 dB. The assembly measures 158 mm in height, requiring case clearance verification before installation. Mounting hardware is included to support Intel LGA 1700/1200 and AMD AM5/AM4 platforms.

Integrated Addressable RGB (ARGB) illumination provides customizable aesthetic lighting options for the fan and shroud.
