The Jonsbo MOD3 is a full-tower chassis constructed with an open-frame architecture. Its frame is built from aluminum panels, complemented by 4 mm thick tempered glass side panels that provide an unobstructed view of the internal hardware. This design prioritizes component visibility and direct air access, making it suitable for custom builds intended for display. The case measures 232 x 620 x 647 mm, providing a substantial footprint for high-end systems and their associated peripherals.

Component compatibility is extensive, with support for motherboards ranging from ITX to EATX formats. The interior accommodates large hardware, offering clearance for CPU coolers up to 170 mm in height and graphics cards up to 400 mm in length. It also supports standard ATX power supplies with a maximum length of 195 mm, which are installed at the bottom of the chassis. The front I/O panel includes two USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A ports alongside standard audio and microphone jacks.

The cooling system is versatile, supporting both air and liquid configurations. The chassis includes mounting positions for up to three 120 mm fans at the front and three 120 mm fans at the top. For liquid cooling, these locations accommodate radiators up to 360 mm in size, allowing for multiple custom loop or AIO cooler installations. No fans are pre-installed, giving the user direct control over their thermal setup from the start.
