KAI Shun Classic White Bread Knife 23 cm

The KAI Shun Classic White Bread Knife (DM705W, 23 cm) is designed for slicing bread and pastries. Its 230 mm serrated blade cuts through hard crusts without crushing the soft interior, helping to keep the loaf intact. The knife uses a core material designed for high edge retention. Its length allows for a controlled sawing motion, making it suitable for sourdough, baguettes, and rye. The serrated teeth are ground to maintain a straight cutting path through both dense and airy textures.

The handle is made from moisture-resistant, light ash-coloured pakkawood. Its D-shaped profile fits securely in the hand, preventing the knife from rotating during use. Hand-washing is required to maintain the quality of the blade and handle over time. With a total length of 355 mm, the knife provides sufficient leverage for larger loaves while remaining easy to handle. This product is manufactured in Japan and features a design by KAI.
