The Zalman Z9 Iceberg MS is a mid-tower ATX case constructed from steel, plastic, and tempered glass. Its design features a 4mm thick tempered glass side panel that provides a clear view of the internal components. The chassis has a black finish and includes integrated ARGB lighting elements on the front panel for aesthetic customization. This case is engineered to support a variety of high-performance system configurations while maintaining a functional and modern exterior.

The internal layout accommodates motherboards up to the E-ATX form factor and provides clearance for CPU coolers up to 185 mm in height. It also supports power supplies with a maximum length of 270 mm. The chassis is configured for extensive cooling, with mounting locations for radiators up to 360 mm on both the front and top panels. Four 140 mm fans are pre-installed to establish direct airflow through the main chamber from the factory.

For system assembly and maintenance, the Z9 Iceberg MS includes several practical elements. It offers seven standard horizontal expansion slots plus an additional three vertical slots for alternative graphics card mounting. Storage options consist of a drive cage that supports both 3.5-inch and 2.5-inch drives. The front I/O panel is equipped with USB 2.0, USB 3.2 Gen 1, and a USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C port, in addition to standard audio jacks for connectivity.
