The Cisco Catalyst 1300 C1300-24XS 10GbE Managed Rack-Mount Switch (24× SFP+) is an L2/L3 device designed for high-bandwidth fiber networks. This model provides 10-Gigabit optical connectivity through 20 standard SFP+ slots and 4 SFP+ combo ports. It has no RJ-45 copper interfaces or Power over Ethernet (PoE) capabilities, serving as a high-speed aggregation or distribution switch. With a total switching capacity of 480 Gbit/s, it handles high-density data traffic, while multicast and broadcast controls help manage congestion on active fiber links.

The rack-mount chassis fits standard infrastructure for centralized server room deployments.
