The unit supports variable speed operation, managed via Pulse Width Modulation (PWM) technology to allow precise control over thermal management based on system load. It operates across a broad range, from a minimum of 300 RPM up to a maximum rotational speed of 1700 RPM. This configuration facilitates a maximum airflow capacity of 95.7 cfm, providing effective ventilation for standard computer cases.

The fan blades are constructed using Liquid Crystal Polymer (LCP) material, which ensures rigidity and dimensional stability necessary for high static pressure generation. This construction enables the fan to deliver up to 3.379 mmH2O of air pressure, suitable for environments requiring focused airflow resistance. Operational noise levels are contained, spanning from 10 dB at its lowest setting to 36 dB when running at full power. The inclusion of two iCUE LINK connectors streamlines the connection process, requiring a separate iCUE LINK System Hub for operation.
