Input is managed through five tactile, pressed buttons and a central scroll wheel designed for vertical movement.

Tracking relies on laser sensor technology capable of registering movement resolution up to 2000 DPI. Users can select from four predefined sensitivity modes, allowing the mouse precision to be adjusted based on the task, ranging from general navigation to detailed graphic work. Connectivity is established through a 2.1 meter wired USB interface, which provides constant power and stable data transmission without relying on batteries. The included Evoluent Mouse Manager software enables the assignment of custom actions across all five programmable buttons. The mouse is certified for use across Windows, macOS, and Linux platforms.
