The Thermaltake View 270 TG ARGB Snow is a mid-tower chassis constructed from SPCC steel, featuring 4mm thick tempered glass panels on the front and left side for component visibility. It offers broad compatibility for system builders, supporting motherboard form factors from Mini-ITX up to E-ATX. The case measures 230 mm in width, 456 mm in height, and 454 mm in depth, providing a standard footprint for various build configurations.

This chassis is designed with multiple cooling options to facilitate thermal management. It accommodates liquid cooling systems with support for a radiator up to 360 mm on the top panel and a 120 mm radiator at the rear. For air cooling, there are mounting locations for fans at the front, top, side, and rear. A single 140mm CT140 ARGB fan is pre-installed at the rear to provide initial exhaust airflow, with lighting that can be synchronized with compatible motherboard software.

Internal clearances allow for CPU coolers up to 180 mm in height and power supplies up to 220 mm in length. The front I/O panel is equipped with two USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A ports, one USB-C port, and a combo audio jack. Storage options include a cage that supports two 3.5-inch drives and dedicated mounts for two 2.5-inch drives. The design also incorporates integrated cable management routes and removable dust filters for maintenance.
