Ubiquiti UniFi Dream Machine Pro Max - Managed Cloud Gateway, Grey

The Ubiquiti UniFi Dream Machine Pro Max (UDM-Pro-Max) is a 1U rack-mountable gateway that combines Layer 3 routing, a firewall, and a local network controller. Designed to act as the core of a UniFi network, it manages traffic across nine 2.5G RJ-45 Ethernet ports and two 10G SFP+ uplink slots. The system supports an intrusion detection and prevention (IDS/IPS) throughput of up to 5 Gbps. With OSPF and BGP routing protocols, the device directs traffic across multiple sites and subnets. This non-PoE unit has a typical power consumption of 60 W.

Network administrators can segment clients using IP subnet-based VLANs, while access control lists (ACL) and quality of service (QoS) functions allow for traffic prioritisation. High availability is supported via redundant power supply (RPS) compatibility and Virtual Router Redundancy Protocol (VRRP) Shadow Mode. For local surveillance and application hosting, the chassis features an integrated SSD and two drive bays for video recording. Configuration and monitoring are managed via the web interface or the cloud-based UniFi portal. The exterior panels are made of aluminium and galvanised steel.
