HPE Aruba Networking CX 8360-48XT4C v2 - Layer 3 Managed Switch

The HPE Aruba Networking CX 8360-48XT4C v2 is a Layer 3 managed switch designed for high-density enterprise data centre and campus environments. This non-PoE model features 48 RJ-45 ports supporting 10G Ethernet for high-bandwidth server and backbone connections. It provides a switching capacity of 1,760 Gbit/s and a forwarding rate of 2,678 Mpps to maintain line-rate routing across all active interfaces. Integrated Layer 3 capabilities, including IP routing and static routing, manage data flow across complex, multi-subnet networks.

The 1U chassis fits standard 19-inch racks and incorporates hardware redundancy to ensure continuous uptime. The unit operates with two AC power supply modules and three cooling fans, with a maximum power draw of 500 W. Administrators can segment network traffic using up to 4,094 virtual LANs. Traffic management and security are handled through access control lists, RADIUS and TACACS+ authentication, and QoS protocols. Local configuration is available via an integrated RJ-45 or USB Type-C console port.
