HPE Aruba Networking CX 8360-48XT4C v2 - Managed Layer 3 switch

The HPE Aruba Networking CX 8360-48XT4C v2 Managed L3 Switch is designed for high-density core and aggregation in enterprise networks. It features 48 RJ-45 copper ports supporting 10G Ethernet, as well as 10/100/1000 Mbit/s connections. This Layer 3 switch provides a total switching capacity of 1,760 Gbit/s and a forwarding throughput of 2,678 Mpps, allowing it to process heavy traffic across all interfaces without bottlenecks. The operating system supports complex topologies using dynamic IPv4 and IPv6 routing protocols, including BGP4, OSPF, and MPLS.

The switch is a 1U rack-mount device. It includes dual AC power supplies for redundancy and three internal fans for cooling during continuous operation. Administrators access the command-line interface via RJ-45 or USB Type-C console ports to configure traffic policies and access control lists (ACLs). Management and monitoring sessions are secured via RADIUS and TACACS+ authentication and SNMPv3. The hardware consumes up to 500 W under peak load.
