The CORSAIR FRAME 4000D RS ARGB is a mid-tower ATX case constructed from steel, plastic, and a tempered glass side panel. It accommodates a range of system builds, with support for motherboards from Mini-ITX to E-ATX (up to 305 mm x 277 mm). The chassis is designed with a focus on airflow and component visibility while maintaining a standard mid-tower footprint suitable for various desk setups.

For thermal management, the case includes three pre-installed 120 mm ARGB fans in the front intake position. It offers extensive cooling flexibility, with mounting locations for radiators up to 360 mm in both the front and top panels. An InfiniRail system allows for adjustable side-mounted fan positioning, and a comprehensive cable management system with routing channels facilitates an organized interior for unobstructed airflow.

Component installation is supported by dedicated drive mounts for two 3.5-inch drives and four 2.5-inch drives. The case features seven horizontal expansion slots and includes a GPU anti-sag arm to provide structural support for larger graphics cards. The front I/O panel is equipped with two USB 3.2 Type-A ports, one USB 3.2 Type-C port, and a combination audio jack for peripheral connectivity.
