The Sony WH-CH520 is a set of on-ear wireless headphones equipped with 30 mm dynamic drivers that cover a frequency range of 20 to 20,000 Hz. Connectivity is established via Bluetooth 5.2, supporting both SBC and AAC codecs for audio streaming. A multipoint connection feature allows the headphones to be paired with two devices simultaneously, enabling users to switch between a computer and a smartphone. The closed-back, on-ear design provides a degree of passive noise isolation for listening in various environments.

The internal battery delivers up to 50 hours of audio playback or 40 hours of talk time from a full charge. A full recharge is completed in three hours using the included USB-C cable, and a three-minute fast charge provides additional listening time.
