The TP-Link Omada SG5428X is a 24-port Gigabit stackable Lite L3 managed switch featuring four 10G SFP+ slots, designed for network segmentation and high-volume data management. This non-PoE model has 24 Gigabit RJ-45 ports for connecting standard hardware such as computers, printers, and servers. Four 10G SFP+ slots provide high-speed uplinks to core network components or fibre-based storage. Operating at Layer 3, the switch supports static routing, allowing it to process inter-VLAN traffic internally without needing a separate gateway router. A 128 Gbit/s switching capacity ensures that full-bandwidth traffic can pass through the system without bottlenecks.

Designed for standard 19-inch rack mounting, the unit measures 440 × 180 × 44 mm. Administrators can configure the system via a local web GUI, an RJ-45 console port, or the Omada cloud management platform. Up to four physical units can be stacked to operate as a single logical device, simplifying management and increasing link redundancy. Integrated features include traffic shaping, access control lists (ACLs), ARP inspection, and Quality of Service (QoS). The unit uses active cooling via four internal fans and has a maximum power consumption of 19.6 W under peak load.
