The TP-Link Omada ES205GP is a compact, 5-port Gigabit Easy Managed Layer 2 switch. It provides network connectivity and power distribution for up to four devices via PoE+ (65 W total budget). Equipped with five Gigabit RJ-45 ports, the unit offers a 10 Gbit/s switching capacity. Its support for Power over Ethernet Plus allows administrators to power hardware such as IP access points or security cameras without the need for separate electrical cabling to edge devices. A forwarding rate of 7.4 Mpps ensures stable traffic handling for small-scale network deployments.

Housed in a metal casing, the switch is designed for desktop use or wall mounting. Its fanless cooling makes it suitable for noise-sensitive areas or open-plan offices. Network segmentation and traffic prioritisation are supported through Quality of Service (QoS) controls and virtual LAN options, including MTU, port-based, and tagged VLANs.
