MERCUSYS MR37BE Router, Wi-Fi 7, BE6500, Dual-band

The MERCUSYS MR37BE BE6500 is a dual-band wireless router operating on the Wi-Fi 7 (802.11be) standard. This specification provides a combined wireless data transfer rate of up to 6448 Mbit/s. High-performance clients utilize the 5 GHz band, which supports data rates up to 5760 Mbit/s, including support for 4K-QAM modulation. The 2.4 GHz band offers speeds up to 688 Mbit/s and maintains compatibility with older 802.11ax and legacy devices.

For high-speed wired connectivity, the router features Ethernet ports supporting mixed data rates, including at least one 2.5 Gigabit interface suitable for high-speed WAN or LAN uplink, alongside multiple 1 Gigabit LAN ports. The networking hardware supports Multi-Link Operation (MLO), a feature intended to enhance network efficiency and reduce operational latency for Wi-Fi 7 clients. Six fixed omni-directional antennas, coupled with Beamforming technology, work to focus signals and improve coverage stability. Security protocols include WPA3 encryption and an integrated SPI firewall, with additional support for Quality of Service (QoS) traffic prioritization.
