The TP-Link Omada SG3428XMPP is a 24-port Gigabit L2+ managed switch with four 10G SFP+ slots and a 500 W PoE budget. It features 24 Gigabit RJ-45 ports for connecting devices such as access points and IP cameras, while the four 10G SFP+ slots provide high-speed uplinks to core switches or storage arrays. The unit delivers a switching capacity of 128 Gbit/s and a forwarding rate of 95.23 Mpps.

Housed in a 1U chassis, the switch includes hardware for 19-inch rack mounting. Management is performed via a web interface, a local command-line interface through the RJ-45/Micro-USB console port, or centralized Omada Cloud integration. Network administrators can segment traffic using VLANs or prioritize time-sensitive data with Quality of Service (QoS) protocols. Security features include Access Control Lists (ACL), ARP inspection, and IP-MAC-Port binding. A three-fan cooling system regulates internal temperatures to support continuous operation.
