De Buyer Prima Matera Saucepan Copper/Stainless Steel 18 cm 2.5 Liters

The 18 cm De Buyer Prima Matera saucepan is an induction-compatible vessel designed for precise heat management during sauce preparation and reductions. It has a 2.5-litre capacity, suitable for everyday kitchen tasks. The body features a copper exterior for rapid heat conductivity and a stainless steel interior for a durable cooking surface. The pan is oven-safe for recipes that require finishing in the oven, and the base is designed to heat uniformly to prevent hot spots during simmering.

Weighing 1370 g, the saucepan is stable on the hob yet remains light enough for one-handed pouring. Manufactured in France, it features a cast stainless steel handle for durability. The pan is not dishwasher-safe and must be washed by hand to preserve the finish of the copper exterior. As no lid is included, you will need to use your own or cook uncovered when thickening liquids. The uncoated stainless steel interior is easy to clean and requires no maintenance, unlike traditional copper pans. This unit is sold individually.
