The De Buyer Mineral B Element Frying Pan (24 cm) is an iron skillet designed for high-temperature searing and browning. With a 240 mm diameter and a 1.27 L capacity, the pan is sized for individual portions, such as steaks or omelettes. The iron construction conducts heat quickly across various hobs, including gas, induction, halogen, and sealed-plate. The 2.5 mm base helps maintain heat during cooking, while the 1390 g weight ensures the pan remains stable on the hob and resists warping.

The cooking surface is finished with organic beeswax to protect the metal from oxidation and assist with the initial seasoning. A dark patina develops with use, which improves the pan's natural non-stick properties without synthetic coatings. A single riveted handle provides a secure grip for maneuvering. This model is oven-safe up to 200 °C, allowing you to move from the hob to the oven to finish dishes. Because the material is sensitive to moisture, the skillet is not dishwasher-safe and must be dried by hand. It is supplied without a lid, as it is intended for open-pan techniques like frying.
