The MSI SPATIUM M461 is an internal solid-state drive utilizing the PCIe 4.0 x4 interface for high-speed data transfer. This 4TB model achieves sequential read performance of up to 5000 MB/s and sequential write speeds reaching 4200 MB/s. The unit employs a Phison E21T controller paired with 3D NAND flash, optimized for rapid application loading and improving system responsiveness in compatible desktop and laptop systems.

Designed in the standard M.2 2280 form factor, the drive integrates easily into modern motherboards and notebooks. Reliability is maintained through a robust endurance rating of 900 TBW and a Mean Time Between Failures (MTBF) of 1.5 million hours. This stability is further supported by internal features such as End-to-End Data Path Protection and integrated ECC (Error Correction Code) functionality.
